Fun, Busy Weekend!

Wow! Lots to do, places to go, people to see, you know, the times when life just kicks in to gear and gets busy. My sister, Heidi, just had her birthday Friday, and it was really great! Our family went up the mountain (to Cascadell) to a creek we used to play at when we were little. There is a big falls there that you can look down on and we found a little meadow and had a picnic lunch. There are tons of ladybugs up there at this time of year and so we had little red beauties that joined us. After lunch we had fun exploring all the little places we used to go when we were little. We scaled the rocks, down to the waterfalls and just enjoyed the beauty! Then we got together and played badminton, that was so much fun! Later, when we got home, Heidi and I watched one of our favorite movies, Singin' in the Rain! All in all, we had a wonderful day! Today a friend is coming over to make homemade ice cream! We can't wait!
